Mr. Tom Tinsley has over 40 years experience in software development and enterprise architecture. Mr. Tinsley’s skills include managing the development and deployment of application systems in banking, state government, retail, and media. He has deployed ecommerce applications in support of retail delivery and supply chain. His technical skills include multiple languages used on mainframes, open systems and the internet. His architecture skills include procedural, object-oriented, service-oriented, event-driven, and design patterns.
Mr. Tinsley is an author of Information Technology books and articles. He has authored the books, Enterprise Architects: Masters of the Unseen City, Deadlines and Duct Tape, and Self-Service IT: Just Plug In. He is also active in internet social media with publications on Technorati.com and as a blogger on SelfServiceIT.com. Mr. Tinsley is also the inventor of a process to calculate TV Ratings patented by the Nielsen Company.
